At East Coast Scaffolding safety is our main priority, whether it is our own workforce, contractor's working on the scaffolding or to members of the general public. We provide risk assessments, safety policies, and method statements and also employ the Scafftag System.
In recent years we have seen a huge change in the construction industry, none more so than in the scaffolding sector where there has been an increasing demand for companies to meet the highest health and safety criteria to protect from accident and harm of their own employees, the workforces of other organizations who need to work on scaffolding and to the general public you can be assured that we are fully insured for public liability, product liability and employer's liability.
We strive to continually adopt and adapt working practices to not only meet, but exceed the requirements of the latest legislation. At the same time, we encourage our workforce to obtain the highest levels of skills through our ongoing training schemes.

Why choose East Coast Scaffolding:
As of now Western Nova Scotia will be provided with access at height, with unparalleled safety. As far as safety is concerned Nova Scotia has a less than an acceptable standard, 32 construction related deaths as of 2013 alone. As you may be aware Minister Regan’s changes to the administrative penalties, and the implication of a zero tolerance policy have created a situation where not having your scaffolding correctly constructed to regulations and ticketed, can lead to a hefty fine.
